Encontré esta película navegando por Netflix y fue el casting lo que ha llamado mi atención.
La multipremiada Meryl Streep, el genio detrás de personajes fantásticos Gary Oldman, el emblemático español Antonio Banderas, el desaparecido David Schwimmer, la siempre deslumbrante Sharon Stone, el carismático James Cromwell y más nombres afamados engalanan esta trama.
El tema por si mismo es llamativo, sobre todo en un siglo en donde tantos millones de dólares de lavado de dinero, han sido asociados con grandes personalidades, desde el futbolista Lionel Messi, hasta el empresario mexicano Alfonso de Angoitia. El punto es que el lavado de dinero en Panamá y en todo el mundo afecta la economía. De aquí va la película.
Con un entrecruce en la narrativa original y dinámico, se logran vislumbrar las complejas interconecciones que millonarias empresas fantasmas sostienen. Esto, como métodos de evasión dentro del sistema, afectando al groso de la población y enriqueciendo a políticos, empresarios, deportistas, artistas corruptos.
Me es importante reafirmar lo buen actor que es el señor Gary Oldman. Qué interesante verlo construir de forma minimalista, rasgos de personalidad. La gran Meryl Streep, como siempre, guiando sus creaciones a través de una profunda empatia.
La Lavandería, es una satira rica en argumentos, dirección, un guión bien estructurado, actuaciones impecables, ¿análisis de una sociedad podrida o de un sistema fallido?
