Para las familias.
La puerta se abrió en mi nacimiento.
Al rededor de la mesa, copas al centro, platos detrás, las sonrisas conquistaban la aurora de todos los sentires en torno al pavo.
Sonreía mi madre, acompañaba mi tía, mis primos, mi tío, mi hermano. Eramos el resultado final de aquella matemática que desde niño soñé.
Con guante en mano se abrió el telón del horno y cada rincón de la cabaña se ahumó de recuerdos infinitos. La infancia, la memoria de errores, los daños cometidos. El perdón compartido con silencios que caben cada tantas oraciones de interrupción emocional.
No cabíamos en nosotros mismos. Nos sabíamos vivos, estábamos ahí, pudiendo abrazarnos, diciéndonos de ojos a alma lo mucho que nos hacemos falta.
Pasamos un día juntos para acariciar la ausencia, no fue suficiente. Hizo falta una segunda, una tercera, podrían ser mil noches y ahí seguiríamos, en ese limbo que de amor creamos.
Se rompió la piñata, compartimos frustraciones, extendimos hombros y conquistamos entre risas nuevos sueños.
No hizo falta que el crujir de los leños obviara emociones. El olear de la energía entre los sillones mostró el mensaje. Somos, estamos, nos amamos.
